How do I know if my flight is cancelled or confirmed?
If your flight is cancelled, we will be in touch by email or phone as soon as we can. We will do our best to give as much notice as possible, however keep in mind that sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances cancellations can happen at very short notice. Please check your email for any updates before heading to the airport.
Can I get a refund?
All tickets and tours are refundable until 72 hours prior to the scheduled flight or tour. Within 72 hours prior to the flight, they are non refundable.
However, there is a 10% admin fee applied to any refund. You will receive a refund of 90% of the ticket or tour value.
You may reschedule a flight at any time with 72 hours prior notice. There is no admin fee applied to rescheduling.
Tickets and tours are transferable. With advance notification, you may transfer your ticket or tour to another name.
If you book a flight or tour with a groupon voucher code, but did not actually purchase a groupon, you are not entitled to a refund. We will only honour voucher codes and groupons that are paid for, valid, and that have been entered, at the time of booking.
If your flight is rescheduled due to weather, the original flight booking and new flight bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Gift Cards are not refundable.
How much baggage can I bring?
You are permitted to take one personal article such as a purse, camera bag, brief case, or laptop bag per person (max dimensions of 16 cm x 33 cm x 43 cm).
For an additional $10, you may bring an airline carry-on sized item (max dimensions of 23 cm x 40 cm x 55 cm) with a maximum weight of 20 pounds.
For an additional $25, you may bring an airline style suitcase (61 cm x 42 cm x 28 cm) or specialty items such as folding bikes and golf bags. However, depending on the flight, we may not be able to accommodate large or specialty items due to space and weight limitations. We do not issue refunds for baggage exceeding this limit or not being able to accommodate specialty items so please inquire with us.
Pets count as a suitcase and would cost $25. Pets that cannot be held in your lap must be in a cage to avoid affecting other passengers in the case of allergies.
How can I make a reservation if I have purchased a voucher from a third party?
Booking instructions are always listed on the type of flight you are reserving for. If you have purchased a Groupon, please enter the promo-code in the “use voucher” as per the description on the flight. Once you have done this, then the taxes and any surcharges remain and must be paid to complete your reservation. Please make sure to include your actual voucher/barcode number on the flight booking, otherwise there may be complications with your reservation.
Are there any age restrictions for children?
We do not have any age restrictions, we require that children must be able to sit on the seat unassisted, and have the seat belt on safely, and be accompanied by an adult in case of an onboard emergency.
What are the times of the flights?

What exactly is the time of my booking. When we depart or when we must arrive by?
The time of your booking is the time of departure. You should arrive 15 minutes before you arrive to properly check-in, use the washroom, and grab a coffee or tea. Also, if you have any luggage, we would load it during this time.
Under what circumstances would my flight be cancelled?
A flight or booking may be cancelled with up to 2 hours prior notice. This would be do to either a mechanical issue or weather. Flights between Niagara and Toronto can go in most weather conditions (except for weather below IFR minima and freezing rain or drizzle conditions), but all scenic tours must be done in VFR (Visual Flight Rules) conditions. The ceiling and visibility must be a certain amount for us to legally and safely conduct aerial tours. This is dictated to us by the control tower and Transport Canada and therefore out of our control. Your flight cannot be cancelled or refunded if this happens, but we will reschedule your flight to a new convenient date and time of your choice.
How many seats are there on each aircraft type?
Our Piper Chieftain can seat 8 passengers.
Our Piper Warrior, used for private tours, can seat 2-3 passengers depending on passenger weight.
Our Airvan 8 can seat 6 passengers.
Our Piper Seneca can seat 2-4 passengers depending on passenger weight.
What is the approximate time of the city tour?
The 100km scenic tour is approximately 30 minutes from engine start to engine shutdown. The time between take off and landing is 20 minutes. Don’t forget planes fly much faster than cars drive! You will see a lot and the views are amazing.
What if I’m late?
We recommend arriving at the terminal 30 minutes prior to your reservation to check in. Due to scheduling and convenience for the other passengers, we always strive to leave on time. If it is a private charter flight or private plane, we will do our best to accommodate you depending on any flights that may be booked afterwards. Please let us know if you will be late and we can try to compensate.
What happens if I’m late?
In order to keep on schedule and enure that the other passengers fly on time, unfortunately, we will be required to fly with empty seats. we cannot refund your payments, as we will not be able to fill the seats with other passengers at such late notice. If the tickets were purchased through a third party, any vouchers will be redeemed. (Note: this will be done also for those who do not show up for a scheduled flight without prior notice.)
How do I get to Hangar 6?
Directions are posted on our website at www.flygta.com/contact. You will find a map that will show you exactly where you need to go, including the parking lot.
Can I park on the Island?
Yes. ($35 parking + $11 ferry charge for vehicles). We highly suggest a taxi or public transit if possible. Porter offers a complimentary shuttle bus from Union station.
How much is parking on the two parking lots across the airport (main land)?
Flat rate $20 during week days, and $15 on weekends. Prices may change without notice.
Can I request for a non alcoholic drink instead of the champagne?
Yes, please request this in the special request section of your booking.
